Hey folks, nice forum you have here. I plan on frequenting this site now that I will be relocating to the Wilmington, DE area.

I am interested in shore fishing opportunities on the Delaware Bay. Is it even worth it to shore fish along the DE side of the bay, or should I just cruise down to Rehoboth so I can throw my gear into the "real" ocean. I have very little experience surf fishing so I would appreciate any feedback you may have on the Del. Bay surf fishing. Thanks,.

CB .. Lewes Harbour Marina - Capt. Joe Morris, would be your Delaware Bay Fishing Guru ! .. http://lewesharbourmarina.com/ ... I"m sure He can give you the most up to date and accurate fishing advice, tips, and current action reports for the Delaware Bay Area.

If you are a landlocked (without boat) fisherman, probably the Cape Henlopen Delaware State Park area would be your best bet for Surf Fishing ...
